You're told where each player was born. Drop a pin on it — your score is how far off you are, so lower is better.
Mode
You get the city and state. Just find it on the globe.
Each mode has its own four players.
Standard: you are told the city and state (or country). The globe keeps its state lines, so the job is simply to find the place.
Expert: no birthplace and no state lines — only country borders. You work it out from the clues, and one hint per day names the state or country for a 50% penalty on that player's miles.
Clues: every player comes with facts that narrow the search without giving it away. Whether they were born in the USA halves the globe on its own.
Four players: three from this season, then a ★ Legend — an all-time great pulled from the same pool the Streak game uses.
Scoring: great-circle distance from your pin to the birthplace. Your daily total earns a rank, from Pinpoint down to Lost at Sea. The two modes are scored on separate ladders and separate leaderboards, because their miles are not comparable.
Daily set: each mode has its own four players, the same for everyone on that mode, reset at midnight Eastern. Switching modes cannot leak answers.
